John says... These are examples of wonderful slipcovers.Very nice!"
Congratulations to T.M. from North Carolina.

From Dorit, Claremont, CA
John says... Level 1 slipcover submitted by D. Kagy. This is a wonderful example of what can be achieved simply by utilizing the skills from level 1. Please note that because the cushions are all covered individually, this slipccover will maintain this "tidy" customized look.... even after ongoing use. This photo also demonstrates that using white fabric will always give you a classic look but remember that additional covers can be created using the same pattern giving you numerous options for different seasons" Thanks for sending in the photo... job well done!

From Charlsey, Sherman, Tx
"Just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful cd's. I can only improve with the more I watch them. I found your teaching methods to be fantastic... thorough and definetly confidence building. I thank you so much for my new room. I have already given your web site info out to several of my friends and wish you much success.. I am so glad I found you and look forward to getting additional cd's to just keep improving."
John says... "This is a wonderful example of what you can achieve with Basic Principles of Slipcovering Level 1... very nice Charlsey!"

John says... "...more terrific work from Charlsey. Notice the nicely relaxed fit of her covers. Not too tight and not too loose. Charlsey has been able to utilize her new skill by making custom slipcovers for many of the furniture pieces in her house. She not only saved a great deal of money (these days, NOT to be underestimated) but she gained satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment by decorating her house exactly the way she wants. How rewarding! "

From Carol, Tulsa OK
John says... "Before and after photos of Carol's first project - what a difference!

John says... "This is Carol's second slipcover project. She had emailed me three pictures of this chair as she was making her pattern along with a question she had. In her email, she used the words "nervous" and "frustrated" that this project would not turn out. I answered her question and told her that her pattern looked quite good and encouraged her to see the project through. The results speak for themselves.... just fantastic!!!"
Carol Says:"Overall, I am very happy with the results. Thanks so much for all your help and advice and encouragement!

From Milissa, Florence KY
John says... "Melissa's first slipcover is fabulous!

From Cynthia, Keller TX
Cynthia says..."I will tell you again how much I have enjoyed your course on DVD. As I told you in an email--- I have tried numerous times to slipcover but books and instructions just skimmed over the pattern part. They talked about blocking, etc. but--- then what? I have always been creative but this seemed beyond me until I stumbled onto your website!"
John says... "Fantastic work, Cynthia!

From Nancy H.
Nancy says..."I'm so excited, I wanted to write and tell you about my second attempt at custom slipcovers. My daughter lives in Houston and needed a solution to her grandmother's sofa and loveseat. I live in Illinois with a handful of DVDs. I did a test on a piece of furniture I own and then jumped - blindly - into the project. Over spring break, I took my tape measure and a bolt of muslin to Texas and made my patterns. Throughout the summer, decisions were made on fabric, color etc.I delivered the final slipcovers last weekend. She is thrilled. They aren't perfect, but she is so pleased!
John says... "Well done, Nancy!

From Cynthia R.

John says... "See how Cindy has transformed her sad, tired sofa into a fabulous 'new' piece of furniture - Great work, Cindy!"

From Beth, Park Falls WI
John says... "Thankyou Beth for your kind feedback. You have made my day! "
Beth says..."I ordered your cd on making a slipcover and here is the result! If I ever had any doubts that I could finish this project, your reassuring manner and careful instructions put me at ease. This was a present for my sister, we were both very happy with the results. I am starting a slipcover for one of my couches and will send you a picture when I'm done. You really are able to make this project seem easy to complete."
